Tara.....

Tara is a multi-instrumental musician and singer hailing from the far shores of Australia and now based in Bristol. She studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and completed a Bachelor of Education degree before heading over to this side of the world to pursue a career in music performance and teaching. Tara has a passion for all things swing and is a keen Lindy-hopper and occasional Shagster. She absolutely adores playing music for dancers but loves to challenge them with tempo changes and musical in-jokes to 'keep them on their toes'!

Tara plays keys and sings in several musical projects, one being the infamous Bristolian gypsy-party band "The Rin Tins".

Emma...

Emma moved to Bristol from Taunton two years ago to become a full time musician and digital artist. She started learning drums at the age of 10 in a marching band in her home town of Taunton and then started playing drum kit in school orchestras and bands. She has no formal music training as she ventured off to Reading University in 2001 to pursue a career in film. However, she realised how much she missed music and began to change direction and head for the Bristol live scene to pursue music full time. She still makes films though and is also a composer, graphic designer and photographer as well as a gigging drummer.
Emma is one of the founding members of the new 3 piece instrumental funk band 'Hegemono' and is the drummer for the all female jazz quartet, 'Starlings'.

DANNY

Danny is the band leader of the charismatic New Orleans style brass band 'Horning Glory'. He is best known for his unique horn, namely his sousaphone called Suzie who has made quite a name for herself in the Bristol music scene. A site to behold on stage, Suzie and Danny make an excellent pair very suited to the eclectic jazz styles of this ragtaggle band.
